A gallery of Lina

This set of images is featuring Lina. Here she's drawing something. In Finnish, we have a saying about doing something with intense concentration, which can literally be translated as "keeping your tongue in the middle of your mouth". And like you see, she's doing just that!



Here's Lina with her good friend, Alex at his birthday party:

They are old daycare buddies, and clearly very used to taking naps together.



Just one week before Kauppi started his summer holidays, Lina had an accident at the daycare. Nobody saw what happened, neither was Lina able to tell us about it. Anyway, she got a pretty ugly injury on her ring finger. The nail was torn off and she had a bandage on it for several weeks. So much for swimming during the holiday...


And every single time the bandage had to be changed, it was quite a heart-braking torture. Lina just couldn't bear the idea of cleaning (or simply exposing) the finger.


Until then, she had used her both hands pretty equally, but when the left hand was in the bandage, she clearly avoided using it.

Lina and a huge letter "L" she made from Duplo building blocks. She knows all the letters of the Alphabet, and even recognizes few words like Lina and Teo, but of course, can't write or read yet.
